Selected as "Best Young International Composer" at 2019 World Soundtrack Awards

Pierre Charles has been awarded the SABAM Award for the Most Original Composition by a Young International Composer at 2019's World Soundtrack Awards in Ghent, Belgium. His winning score to an excerpt from Nicholas Roeg's 1973 thriller Don't Look Now was performed live by the Brussels Philharmonic at the awards.

Charles was among other winners in a variety of categories including Michael Abels (Us), Hildur Guonadóttir (Chernobyl), and John Powell (How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World).
